Diploma of Higher Education Studies
KPT/JPT (R/140/4/0007) 01/23 - MQA/SWA0654
Why study a Diploma of Higher Education Studies?
Do you have pre-university or foundation year qualifications but need another chance to earn a degree and move closer to your dream of becoming a journalist, social scientist, business professional, IT expert or scientist?
This one-year program is an alternative pathway to a Monash degree. It allows you to study first-year units in four of our schools – arts and social sciences, business, IT and science – and qualify for the second year of a chosen degree.
Degree options and units
You have seven degrees to choose from across the four participating schools. Whichever you choose, you need to study six units related to your degree and two compulsory study-skills units, Learning in Higher Education and Academic Literacies, in your first year.
Duration
This course takes one year of full-time study to complete.
