Studying in English
Students can meet the English language requirement if they have undertaken the following studies at an institution where English is the language of instruction, communication and assessment for the entire institution as follows:
Undergraduate admission:
- satisfactorily completed the equivalent of two standard full-time semesters at Australian VET diploma level or above which must be taken within 2 years prior to the course commencement date.
Postgraduate admission:
- satisfactorily completed the equivalent of one standard full-time year (48 Monash credit points) of postgraduate study which must be taken within 2 years prior to the course commencement date, or
- satisfactorily completed the equivalent of a minimum of three standard full-time semesters (72 Monash credit points) at Australian VET diploma level or higher which must be taken within 2 years prior to the course commencement date.
- Satisfactory completion of a bachelor degree equivalent to an Australian bachelor degree which must be taken within 5 years prior to the course commencement date.
Documentary evidence in the form of an official letter is required from the institution at which the study was undertaken. The document must be written and signed by the institution’s registrar (or other authorised person) of the education institution to the satisfaction of the Academic Board.
