Experiential Learning Project
Experiential Learning Project (BEW3102) is a unique capstone unit designed for students to reflect deeply and learn from their professional and personal experience. The experience can be:
- overseas student exchange
- an internship
- volunteering experience
- participation in a business or non-business challenge competition
- student leadership experience
- start-up or entrepreneurial experience
Students will independently develop their own project based on their chosen experience. In the process of developing the project, students will be able to build a variety of skills such as:
- online blogging
- communication and presentation
- reflective thinking and writing
- critical thinking and problem solving
- storytelling through photography
- video production and editing

Planning for a Semester Abroad
If you are planning to apply to study one semester abroad either on the Global Intercampus Program or the International Exchange Program, you must begin enquiring about the requirements of this unit in the semester before you depart for your exchange program. Once you have completed all the requirements of the course, you will enrol for the unit upon your return from abroad.

Planning for a Short-term Program Abroad
You may decide to study for a short period overseas which is usually organised during either the Monash summer (December-February) or winter (June-July) breaks, known as short-term programs. You must begin enquiring about the requirements of this unit in the semester before you participate in this program. Once you have completed all the requirements of the course, you will enrol for the unit upon your return from abroad.

This unit can be taken by students from any School at Monash University Malaysia when they are studying abroad on a short-term or semester exchange program overseas. This is also available to incoming exchange and study abroad students from our partner universities when they are on an exchange program at Monash University Malaysia.
