CMO Appointment & Course Map Submission
At School of Arts & Social Sciences, we provide direct services in relations to academic administration and student support – information and advice about your course structure, unit enrolment, major/minor nomination, course maps, exchange programs, etc.
(i) Please make an appointment at least one week in advance. Kindly scan the QR code below or click here to book an appointment with one of our course administrator:
(ii) Please ensure you arrive at least 5 minutes before your scheduled appointment. This will allow time to complete on any additional paperwork and begin the course advice session on time (for face-to- face appointment only).
**LATEST UPDATE: Face-to-face appointment is currently not available .We will use Zoom web conferencing as a temporary mode of appointment. The Zoom link will be sent to you via email) after your appointment is confirmed.
(iii) Please notify through phone call/email if you are running late. We will do our best to accommodate you, but will likely cancel your appointment if you arrive more than 15 minutes. You will need to set a new appointment if you want to have another consultation session.
(iv) Each appointment is fixed at 30 minutes for course advice. If you require more time, please book the subsequent slot.
(v) To reschedule or cancel your appointment please select reschedule and click on cancel appointment button in the notification email (after you have completed the booking).

Course Map Submission
If you're not sure that you've structured your course map (course progression plan) properly, we can help to go through it and provide feedback to you.
All you need to do is to fill in the course map template (you can retrieve the course map template from this website) and upload it in this course map submission box.
Note: Please ensure that you select the correct course code: (A2006 Bachelor of Arts and Social Sciences/ A2007 Bachelor of Communication and Media Studies/ A2011 Bachelor of Digital Media and Communication)
Usually it takes 2-3 university working days for an administrator to assess your course map. More processing time (up to 5 working days) is needed during peak period:
- Before Allocate+ opens for Preference/Adjustment mode
- Orientation week / one week before new semester begins
- Monash Re-enrolment period
- After result is published
You will receive the outcome of the course map assessment via email.
