Task force: Responding to global challenge



A world in crisis: Multilevel responses to global emergencies


Note: Both units must be enrolled concurrently as the assessments are correlated. You cannot take one unit without the other

Credit points: 12 credit points (Intensive block mode)

Prerequisites: Twelve credit points of second-year Arts units

Eligibility: To be eligible to enroll you must meet the prerequisites at the time of application

Duration: 17 – 21 June 2019 (Online mode) 24 June - 12 July 2019 (Face-to-face classes)

(A block mode unit is equivalent to a standard semester (12 weeks) but delivered over a more intensive time period, 4 weeks)

Application Open: Monday, 6 May 2019

Application Closed: Friday, 31 May 2019 (5.00pm Malaysian time). Late submission will not be accepted.

Application process for Monash University Malaysia Students:

  1. Ensure that you meet the Winter units prerequisite requirements at the time of application.
  2. Request for course map check with the Course Management Office (Arts) at least 2 weeks before application due date.
  3. Once CMO has granted the approval then you may proceed to enroll, here are the steps:
    a) Fill out the Enrolment Amendment Form and submit the form to the CMO. Enrolment is entered manually by CMO (Arts) and the process will begin from 6 – 31 May   2019. Late submission will not be accepted.
    b) Generate invoice from the fee calculator and pay tuition fees at the Finance counter latest by Friday 21 Jun 2019.
  4. The units will be added to your enrolment within 2 working days after the enrolment form is received. Thereafter, please login WES to check your enrolment.
