Internal Course Transfer (ICT)
Students can apply for an Internal course transfer (ICT) if they want to transfer from one coursework degree to another in Monash Malaysia. They can only transfer between the same course level (e.g. from one bachelor degree to another bachelor degree) and only if they haven't completed their course. If they are completing the current course and wish to enrol in a new course, they will need to apply again as a new student. For more details, please refer here.

As an international student, you are required to get written approval from the ISP office (mum.student.visa@monash.edu) first. Once you’ve gotten their approval, please proceed to put in an ICT Application form with the written approval via the SORS system (SORS >> Course >> ICT Application form). You have 2 choices:
We'll with go through your profile when we evaluate your application. You'll be given unspecified electives for non business unit. You will most likely will not be able to do two majors in School of Business without spending an additional semester completing your first-year units, but this will depend on your major(s) chosen.
Please include a letter of appeal with your ICT application form, explaining your position and you low WAM for the panel to decide. If the appeal is not approved, we would revert to the student's previous qualification before joining Monash Malaysia.
You may be eligible for internal course transfer at Monash if you:
* want to transfer to a degree of the same level (for example, from a Bachelor degree to another Bachelor degree)
* have successfully completed at least 12 credit points in your current course, and your academic performance has been at an appropriate level
* have successfully completed the prerequisite requirements for the course you want to transfer into, and
* meet any additional entry requirements such as already being enrolled in the faculty.

On the offer notification date, we'll send you an email with the outcome to your Monash student account.
While you wait for your application to be approved, you must:
* re-enrol in your current course or stay enrolled in your current course.
* pay any outstanding course fees for your current enrolment.
We'll email the outcome of your internal course transfer application to your Monash student account on the offer notification date. After the ICT has been processed, you will receive the notification via SROS and the credit letter for your new course.
If you haven't met the conditions, the faculty will let you know your course transfer hasn't been successful, and you'll remain enrolled in your current course.
