You may apply for intermission by fill in the SROS intermission form and the school will process the intermision for you. Once the application approved, you will notified and received the letter of intermission.
Note: Please take note on the return date of intermission. You must be return and re-enrol your units accordingly before start the semester. If you wish to extend your intermission, you must re-apply and your School will determine if an extension is possible. Your School may have requirements that you complete your degree within a specified timeframe.
It is only applicable for 1 year (2 semesters) at a time. If students require more than 1 year of Intermission, another form needs to be submitted.

There is no limit however, The Intermission period is also included in the 8 years (B2026) or 10 years (B2027) maximum duration allowed for the School of Business. Hence, your application might be rejected if you do not have enough time to complete your degree.
