You must fill out the online My Progress and Support tool and upload any supporting documents. This must be completed within 10 days of the release of results. The tool's link will be included in the email notification on your Academic Progress risk level.
Depending on the Committee's decision, you may or may not be asked to attend a hearing. Your replies in the My Progress and Support tool will be considered when a decision is made, it is important for students to complete the tool correctly and with sufficient information.
The decisions / recommendations will be communicated by (either or all):
- calling you for a meeting to discuss your course progression
- email
Yes, you have to. This will help us understand your situation and what had hindered you from performing well and provide recommendations that will help you in your upcoming semesters.
In exceptional circumstances, the school may apply conditions on your enrolment to help you complete your course, or require you to attend an Academic Progress Committee hearing (for example, if you haven’t met a compulsory course requirement. If this happens, the school will contact you separately and advise you on what to do next.
If you fail a unit, or meet any of the unsatisfactory academic progress criteria, your academic progress will be considered at risk of being unsatisfactory (or be considered unsatisfactory) and you’ll be assigned a risk level: level one (advice), level two (monitoring) or level three (intervention).
If you’re assigned a risk level, we’ll provide you with the support you need to help you get back to satisfactory academic progress (for example, by inviting you to complete My Progress and Support).

Yes, you must follow the enrolment conditions imposed by the Academic Progress Committee. To avoid financial penalties, please underload your unit before April 12, 2022 (Tuesday).
The enrolment conditions are imposed to help you cope with your studies. Violating these conditions will be taken seriously when reviewing your progress if you trigger another unsatisfactory academic progress.
Please make an appointment prior to your visit to EMO and please state that it is one of the conditions imposed by the Academic Progress Committee (APC) using the EMO Consultation Appointment Form. Only virtual consultation is currently available. Kindly select virtual consultation in the form.
Your fees will be carried forward to the next semester, as long as your underload before the deadline.
